Greetings Musicisageless friends!

In September we rocked New York’s famous Radio City Music Hall. It was an incredible experience. The highlight was definitely getting to play with Jay Z!!

Drake killed it at both of the sold out shows. It was such a great week in New York. Included in the week’s itinerary was a performance on the David Letterman show (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=of5bPF4qqlk), rehearsals at S.I.R. studios and attending some party’s.

Being in the city that never sleeps for that long we had the opportunity to hang with old friends, make new friends, shop and chill. It was a perfect week :)

Thank you New York City!

Check this video peeps!

Hello musicisageless peeps of integrity and good charity,

I NOW know that amazing things can happen everyday of your life if you manifest them to reality…  For the past 6 weeks and 28 concerts (later), the Drake Lightdreams & Nightmares Tour has been rocking America with loud and firey explosions.

I’m not even kidding. We’re talking pyro, fireworks, lasers… The whole nine. Drake spared no expense. The fans were treated to an amazing event night after night.

We had so many major highs. The highs well outweighed the ONE bad event that came to be (i’ll explain that one in another blog). I experienced great personal reviews for ‘slashing’ guitar playing  in great cities like New York, Chicago and New Orleans. I was very honoured by them all.

New York: http://www.nytimes.com/2010/09/30/arts/music/30drake.html?_r=1

Chicago: http://www.suntimes.com/entertainment/2801670,CST-FTR-drake14.article

New Orleans Voodoo festival: http://www.spin.com/articles/10-best-moments-voodoo-music-experience

Practically every show was sold out for the whole tour. We always had crazy applause and all kinds of celebrity appearances.  Stars like Jay Z, Beyonce, Rihanna, Lebron James, Jaime Fox, P. Diddy… just to name a few. They all wanted to come party with Drake and sing/rap  along  to his hits off the Thank Me Later album.

To end the tour things couldn’t have been scripted anymore perfectly! Not anymore picture perfect. During the song ‘Miss Me’ which duets with Lil’ Wayne, his mentor and best musical homie …Lil’ Wayne, the cool and calm rock n roller hip hoper never stopper  walks out on stage and destroys his 2 nd verse! W.T.F!? It was wild!!!

That night some music history was made on a medium sized stage in the city of many legendary moments.

Watch this video and see for yourselves how crazy it was!

WEEZY!

EE Blog. Lightdreams & Nightmares Tour Miami 2010

Hey good music peeps!

Drake’s Lightdreams & Nightmares Tour has been a huge success! The crowds have been awesome. So so loud… Drake fans know ALL the words and have a great time at every concert. This is a video showing a little bit of how we got the tour up and running.

It takes alot of people and lots of hours of preparation. Luckily, we have one of the greatest teams in the world. It makes touring a much healthier  place. When you are away on tour for long periods of time  you can experience many things… With a great team in place, the fun times never end!

In the past 6 weeks, we have played 28 shows for a live audience of over 125,000 people. Plus, on American Thanksgiving, Fuse (web TV)  will be airing the live show they filmed in New York’s Radio City Music Hall. The viewership for this will be through the roof!!! I hope you watch too!

The adventure began in Miami (South beach) where it was hot all over… There was heat from the sun, heat from the people, heat from the music and lastly… The Miami Heat! Some of them were in the crowd. Toronto misses Chris Bosh Miami!!! haha…

Enjoy,

Look out for more video blogs currently in the editing suite.

Jimi Hendrix Memorial Visit

Hey peeps!

Let blogging season begin! I’d like to start by sharing this video of our trip to Jimi Hendrix memorial grave site in Seattle Washington. We had a great day there. We listened to his music and just took a second out of our busy tour schedule to pay respect to the greatest guitar player of all time. If you haven’t already heard it… please get a copy of Hendrix and the Band Of Gypsies live at the Fillmore. The song Machine Gun is my favorite Hendrix solo i think. He must have been an alien. Who plays guitar like that!? Amazing. Exciting. Crazy. Reckless. Loud. Magnificent. Just a few words to describe the greatness.

There are so many great musicians and artists in Toronto and it was amazing to see everyone come together and support one and other!!! It can make a difference. WE, can always make a difference.

Greetings peeps.

I hope all is well for you in the month of November. I think i have delayed this process for long enough and now i am finally going to begin my weekly rants. Hmm? Where to begin? Well i guess i should start at the beginning…. HA! I won’t go that far back.

Well, as you should know, I play guitar for one of the best Pop stars on the planet. Yes, the Kylie Minogue experience has been absolutely amazing!!!

We just finished another hugely successful tour in North America. I had a blast! I got to play my home town Toronto Canada. I can’t believe how amazing of a tour it was.

Well, i plan on bringing you all a little closer in to my life on the road and at home in this “blog” of mine.

I hope that’s cool with you?

So far with KM, i have been to every continent on the planet. Over 40 countries and a 100 shows later…. i think i have some worldly experiences to write about? Ha!

Its amazing getting to travel the globe. You get to meet amazing people who u wouldn’t ever normally get a chance to meet face to face. I always have a great time shaking hands and meeting people from every walk of life, every race, every religion and colour.

Its peeps that make this world go round… and i love them all!

Welcome to my blog! I hope you come again!
